Day 1 – Bologna Region

Arrival of the group in the late afternoon in the region of Bologna. Accomodation at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 2 – Bologna and Dozza

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the center of Bologna. Welcome by the local guide and visit of the historic center and its arcades. There is not a city in the world with as many arcades as Bologna: together, considering only the historical center, they are over 38 km long. An international record, without a doubt, that the city acclaims with pride and which today represents, with its towers and its lovely tortellinis, the major identity features of the city. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, visit of Dozza, a colorful medieval village: the walls of the houses overlooking its streets are open-air paintings in which spectacular works of art have been painted. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 – Ferrara and Comacchio

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Ferrara. Welcome by the local guide and visit of the historical city center, listed as a Unesco heritage site, a magnificent example of a city designed during Renaissance times. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, drive to Comacchio. Guided tour of the charming town of the lagoon, located in the heart of the Po Delta Park: it stands on thirteen islands and its historical center is a mixture of many small streets and canals that make it very characteristic. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 – Ravenna

Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Ravenna. Welcome by the local guide and visit of the city and its magnificent monuments, Basilica of San Vitale and Mausoleum of Galla Placidia. The Basilica of San Vitale is one of the most important monuments of early Christian art in Italy; once inside the basilica, looking up to the sky, you will notice the magnificent mosaics that tell the story of the origins of Christianity. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, nice walk to Dante’s Tomb, a small temple that preserves the bones of one of the fathers of the Italian language, whose death in 2021 is 700 years old. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 – Return to your area

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure of the group and end of our services.
