This tour will take you to the most important places of the city, its squares and monuments, including the Vatican, the lovely city of Tivoli, and the Gardens of Villa d’Este.
Arrival of the group in the late afternoon in Rome. Accomodation at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Rome, the Eternal City
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the city center. Meeting with the local guide and guided tour of Ancient Rome, a walk to discover the monuments of the Roman period: Arch of Constantine, Colosseum, Forum and Palatine Hill. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, guided visit of Baroque Rome and its squares and fountains: Trevi Fountain, the most famous and monumental in the city, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, a grandiose baroque square and its Fountain of the Four Rivers with allegorical statues of representing 4 rivers ( Nile, Ganges, Danube and Rio della Plata) which symbolize the 4 parts of the world. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Rome and the Vatican
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to the Vatican. Welcome by the guide and visit of the Vatican Museums, the largest art collection in the world, as they display the huge collection of artworks accumulated over the centuries by the popes: the Sistine Chapel and the papal apartments frescoed by Michelangelo and Raphael are among the works that visitors can admire. Visit of Saint Peter’s Basilica and the Square. Lunch and departure to Tivoli. Meeting with the local guide and visit of Villa’Este and its gardens. The impressive number of fountains, caves and water features of Villa d’Este, has become a model that has often been adopted in the realization of the European gardens of Mannerism and Baroque. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Return to your area
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure of the group and end of our services.
