Around the world, Tuscany stands for art. This Italian region is a blend of marvellous places and works of art that everyone should see at least once in their life.

It is the birthplace of some of the greatest artists of all history, and every city boasts countless spots (some more famous than others) where you can stop. Florence, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano: these are the historical cities you will pass through and learn about.

In each of them you will find yourself surrounded by beauty and art, even when you are just wandering around, looking up to spot the many details hidden in plain sight.

Day 1 – Florence / Pisa

Pick up of your vehicle from Florence airport and departure to Pisa. Accommodation for 2 nights in the region.

Day 2 – Lucca and Pisa

Buffet breakfast. Recommended visits to Lucca, which shelters, within its city walls, a vast artistic heritage and Pisa, with the Miracles Square, the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the most famous bell tower in the world, the Leaning Tower, symbol of city of Pisa. Overnight.

Day 3 – San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, Siena

Buffet breakfast and departure to Siena. Recommended visits to San Gimignano, city of the 100 Towers and Monteriggioni, one of the most important fortified villages in the area, incredibly intact, located on a hill, from where it dominates the surrounding landscape. Accommodation for 3 nights in the area.

Day 4 – San Galgano, Siena

Buffet breakfast. Recommended visits to San Galgano with the charming old open-roofed abbey and the Hermitage of Monte Siepi where, according to the legend, San Galgano withdrew in 1170 and as a symbol of peace stuck his sword in the rock where it is still today; visit to Siena and its Piazza del Campo with its shell shape where the famous Palio takes place every year. Overnight.

Day 5 – Val d´Orcia

Buffet breakfast. Recommended visit to the Val d´Orcia, whose agricultural landscapes were shaped in the 14th and 15th centuries. Pass by the Cistercian Abbey of Sant ‘Antimo, built at the end of a valley surrounded by olive trees and cypresses. In Montalcino, a recommended stop to taste the Brunello wine. Continue towards Pienza and its piazza Pio II built in Renaissance style, and then to the small village of Monticchiello perched on a hill. Overnight.

Day 6 – Chianti Region, Florence

Buffet breakfast. Departure to Florence through the Chianti region, skirting villages and vineyards, immersed in the nature of hills and cypresses. Return of your vehicle. Accommodation for 2 nights in Florence.

Day 7 – Florence

Buffet breakfast. Whole day to discovery the treasures of Florence. Overnight.

Day 8 – Florence
Buffet breakfast. Free transfer to Florence airport.
