Day 2 – San Marino and Mondaino
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the smallest and oldest republic in the world: San Marino. Guided tour to discover its towers, the Basilica and the historical city center. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the early afternoon, departure to Mondaino, a village located in the hinterland, with its history and millenary traditions. Visit of the sixteenth-century mill and the rooms that house the Fossa cheese and enchant visitors. Fossa cheese tasting. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Rimini and Cesena
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, guided tour of the historical city center of Rimini. Return to the hotel for lunch.
In the afternoon, excursion to Cesena for a guided tour of the city center and the Malatesta Library, a priceless treasure in the heart of Romagna, a Renaissance masterpiece that deserves to be registered in the Unesco World Memory register. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Sant’Apollinare in Classe and Ravenna
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Ravenna. Stop in Classe to visit the Basilica, a great example of an early Christian basilica, which houses the splendid polychrome mosaics of its apsidal basin and the ancient marble sarcophagi of the archbishops placed in the side aisles. Continue to Ravenna for lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, a nice walk in the center with the guide, to Dante’s Tomb, a small temple that preserves the bones of one of the fathers of the Italian language, whose death is 700 years old in 2021. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Gradara and Santarcangelo
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Gradara to visit the pretty medieval village and the Castle, which hosted the mains families of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance and was the scene of great historical and legendary events. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, on to Santarcangelo di Romagna to visit the small medieval village. Visit of a nearby winery and tasting of wines and typical products. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Return to your area
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure of the group and end of our services.
