The Flowering of Lentils in Castelluccio di Norcia
Every year, between June and July, the lentil fields of Castelluccio di Norcia are transformed into an incredible mosaic of colors.
The town is located in Umbria, in the Monti Sibillini National Park, at an altitude of 1,400 meters. The lentil flowers are accompanied by poppies, blueberries, daisies, wild mustard, chamomile and other wild flowers that find space thanks to the methods introduced by the farmers of the area who work without pesticides, promoting biodiversity and giving life, during the flowering period, to this natural and impressive sight.

Day 2 – Marmore Waterfalls and Spoleto
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Terni to visit the Marmore Falls. The Cascata delle Marmore owes its name to the calcium salts present in the rocks, which look like marble. The waterfall is among the highest in Europe and is divided into three jumps. Continue to Spoleto for lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon guided tour of the city whose medieval aspect has remained intact. Visit of the historical city center: Ponte delle Torri, the Church of San Pietro, the Cathedral with its mosaics and the Church of Sant’Eufemia. Accommodation at the hotel in the area, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 – Norcia and Castelluccio – The Flowering of Lentils
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Norcia. Welcome by the local guide and visit of the pretty town center with its rich medieval historical heritage. Lunch at the restaurant and drive to the Piana Grande in Castelluccio di Norcia, to admire the spectacle of the flowering of the lentils, a natural and impressive spectacle. Return to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.
Day 4 – Return to your area
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure of the group and end of our services.
