Day 1 – Milan

Pick up of your vehicle at Milan airport and departure to Lake Maggiore region. Accommodation for 3 nights in the area.

Day 2 – Stresa and the Borromean Islands

Buffet breakfast. Recommended visit to Stresa and the Borromean Islands: Isola Bella, for a visit to the Borromeo Palace, with its huge lounges and bedrooms on the bel étage, the grottos covered with stones and shells and the garden with its varieties of exotic plants; Isola Madre, famous for its botanical garden with rare plant species; Isola dei Pescatori (Fishermen’s Island) or Upper Island, with its charming narrow streets and the small typical market where you can buy local handicrats. Overnight.

Day 3 – Lake Orta

Buffet breakfast. Recommended visits to Lake Orta and Orta San Giulio, a pretty village included in the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy and to Sacro Monte, Unesco World Heritage Site since 2003. Overnight.

Day 4 – Lake Como

Buffet breakfast. Departure to Lake Como. Recommended visits to Como and its historic center; Sacro Monte d´Ossuccio in Lenno and the magnificent gardens of Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo. Recommended visit of Bellagio, the pearl of the lake, and of Villa Melzi and its gardens. Accommodation for 1 night in the area.

Day 5 – Lake Garda

Buffet breakfast. Recommended visit of the city of Bergamo along the way. Recommended stop at Lake Iseo.

Accommodation for 3 nights in the Lake Garda area.

Day 6 – Sirmione, Manerba

Buffet breakfast. Recommended visits to Sirmione, a pretty village on the lake, very famous and popular for the thermal baths and Bardolino with its vineyards and wine cellars; recommended visit to Manerba and its Park ideal for a bike ride. Overnight.

Day 7 – Malcesine, Riva del Garda

uffet breakfast. Recommended visits to Malcesine and its castle, with the possibility of taking the cable car up to Monte Baldo to admire the panoramic view and to Riva del Garda, where the lake plunges into the alpine valleys in a sort of immense fiord.

Day 8 – Milan
Buffet breakfast. Departure to Milan. Vehicle return at Milan airport.
POSSIBLE EXTENSION IN THE DOLOMITES REGION
To admire a breathtaking panorama: mountains made up of rocky walls, glaciers, karstic areas, high peaks, towers and pinnacles and mountains eroded by atmospheric agents. The Dolomites are included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List and represent a place where the Italian, German and Ladin culture coexist.
POSSIBLE EXTENSION TO VENICE
For a visit of Venice, an open-air museum, which seems to float in its lagoon and of the Murano and Burano Islands.
