Hiking the Amalfi Coast
This itinerary will allow you to discover the Amalfi Coast, its secrets and its beauties during excursions on the paths that plunge into the Mediterranean, including the famous path of the Gods, to discover small villages shaded by vineyards and olive trees, set in the cliffs of the coast . Do not miss the tasting of Lacrima Christi, the visit of the archaeological site of Pompeii and the island of Capri, fascinating, unique and authentic.

Day 1 – Naples
Arrival of the group in Naples. Accomodation at the hotel located near Castellammare di Stabia/Agerola. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Vesuvius / Pompeii
Walking time: 1 hour and 30 minutes in Vesuvius and 3 to 4 hours in Pompei, Elevation: +200 / – 200 m
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Vesuvius. Ascent by the wide track to the crater, on the edge of which a volcanologist guide will reveal the secrets of the volcano. Going down to Pompei, visit a wine cellar famous for the production of Lacrima Christi wine for a light lunch with tasting of typical products and Lacrima Christi wine. In the afternoon, visit to Pompei, asleep at the foot of Vesuvius. Destroyed during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, the site is in a remarkable state of conservation and constitutes an invaluable testimony to ancient Rome. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Amalfi, the valley of the mills and Ravello
Walking time: 5 hours, Elevation: +550 / – 550 m
Breakfast at the hotel. Welcome by the local guide and departure for the hike. Starting from Amalfi, we will go up the magnificent “Valley of the Mills”. On the path bordered by torrents and waterfalls, you will discover the sublime terraces of lemon trees and the old paper factory. Lunch by packed lunch during the excursion. The path then leads to Ravello, a very pretty village 350 m above sea level. Visit of the village and Villa Rufolo. Descent on foot to Amalfi and return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4 – Hike in the Lattari Mountains, regional natural park
Walking time: 4 hours, Elevation: +500 / – 500 m
Breakfast at the hotel. Welcome by the guide and departure for the hike in the Lattari Mountains, a mountain range culminating at 1444m above sea level, a balcony suspended above the legendary Amalfi coast, listed as World Heritage by Unesco. During this hike on the ridges of these mountains, we enjoy a magnificent view of the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. Lunch by packed lunch during the excursion. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Hike on the path of the Gods and Positano
Walking time: 4 hours, Elevation: +150 / – 850 m
Breakfast at the hotel. Welcome by the guide and hike on the “Path of the Gods”, a superb hike on an old mule track that linked Agerola to the village of Positano. We will appreciate the sublime landscape of the coast with these steep cliffs, these terraced crops and these pretty hanging villages. Free time to visit Positano, a small village deep in the mountains, with its multicolored houses descending towards the sea. Lunch during the excursion. Continuation to Amalfi and free time to visit this city. At the end of the afternoon return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 – Capri
Breakfast at the hotel. The day is devoted to the excursion to Capri. Welcome by the local guide at the port and crossing by boat to Capri, the most famous of the islands anchored in the Gulf of Naples. Its coast, with its dolomite cliffs which overlook the sea in several places, is pierced with marvelous caves and surrounded by rocks of fantastic shapes. Island tour by minibus, visit to Anacapri with lunch at the restaurant during the visit. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Return to your area
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure of the group and end of our services.
