Mountains that plunge into the waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea: this is Liguria, a strip of land that man had to conquer, managing to turn it into a garden full of colors and excellent products. It will be incredible to visit the fishing villages full of colourful houses and narrow streets, taking in the scent of the sea and of focaccia. And let’s not forget about Genoa, with its beautiful port and Aquarium, but also the noble streets with the sumptuous palaces and the Caruggi district, where maze-like alleys will make you discover a lively and buzzing area.
Arrival of the group in the late afternoon in the Ligurian Riviera. Accomodation at the hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 2 – Genoa
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Genoa. Meeting with the local guide and visit of the historical city center: the port, Piazza della Vittoria, Piazza Corvetto. The visit ends with a walk through the “carrugi”, small alleys of the historic center to admire the beauty of unusual corners, elegant buildings and churches full of magnificent masterpieces. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, guided tour of the Aquarium, the largest in Europe: an opportunity to admire species that come from all the seas and oceans of the planet. A real dive into biodiversity. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – The Cinque Terre
Breakfast at the hotel and departure by bus to La Spezia. Meeting with the local guide and boarding for the excursion to the Cinque Terre. A real immersion in the magic of historic and colorful villages, situated in a spectacular location overlooking the sea, the steep mountains and the vineyards. Departure by boat from the port of La Spezia to Vernazza, with its impressive marina, around which the medieval town develops, with its characteristic square, its two impressive Genoese watchtowers and the Gothic church dedicated to Saint Margaret of Antioch. On to Monterosso for lunch at the restaurant and a visit to the old center, where the narrow streets climb up the hill. In the afternoon, boat trip to Portovenere and visit of the resort, an example of a perfect marriage between nature and architecture. Return by boat to La Spezia at the end of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 – Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino
Breakfast at the hotel and departure to Santa Margherita Ligure. Visit of this locality, which represents the beauty of the Ligurian Riviera. Boat trip to Portofino, a magnificent fishing village, which brings together colorful houses at the bottom of a natural cove. Return by boat to Santa Margherita for lunch. Continue to Sestri Levante for a visit to an oil mill with olive oil tasting. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – Return to your area
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure of the group and end of our services.
